The Story so far: In search of Mouthwatering excellence.

When we set out to shake up the world of crisps we knew that it would be all about the ingredients. We realised that our approach would have to be the same as a top notch restaurant kitchen. That’s why we approached Carroll’s heritage potatoes. They have won many awards and accolades including Observer Food Monthly Best Producer and grow fabulous heritage potatoes.

Our chef Scott Davis has a lot of experience having worked in some very demanding kitchens. He knows that excellence is only achieved with brilliant ingredients and attention to detail. That’s why we use rapeseed oil because it gives a wonderful finish to the crisps and has very little impact on taste. We want the potato to shine. His extensive range of dips are made in his production kitchens in Wales and are inspired by his travels. Our team is always looking for new dips making sure that the Hipchips experience is always special and always tasty.
